Occasionally I check out Instagram (on a browser) to see what the people I know there are up to. None of them have come over to Bluesky.

Anyway... When the Spark became unreliable, I had to rent ICE vehicles and really didn't like the whole gas thing. I ended up purchasing a 2023 Mazda MX-30 BEV for $23,000CAD. It's a fantastic vehicle. :)

I wish I didn't need to have a car. :\

I also live in an apartment and can't charge here. I've purchased used BEVs. The first one (2019) was a 4 year old Chevy Spark EV @ $8,000USD. I really liked it, and the end of it was Chevrolet, not the technology. The Chevrolet dealership said that the HV battery needed to be replaced @ $27,000CAD.

I've had a BEV since 2019. It runs at around 15 kWh/100 km. Here that's about $5 CAD at a Level 3 charger, a third of that if you charge at home. If you have to have a car, the technology is so much better than an ICE vehicle on all levels. Eventually, people will realize that.
