METAL BRINGER is out today and it totally rules. Fully-customizable mechs, combat that’s big on spectacle, awesome visuals, and a throwback electronic score make it a real winner. Going to be playing a lot of this one.

NOSFERATU: How fitting that Robert Eggers takes us back to the beginning of horror cinema for a film that feels like it’s pushing the genre forward once again. His version of this film is the perfect balancing act of homage and new perspective, and it’s downright thrilling. My favorite of the year.

THE BRUTALIST: I try my best not to over exaggerate, but this film is inconceivably great. A true historical epic on a grand scale. Brody, Pearce, and Jones are all astonishing. The VistaVision presentation is fucking gorgeous. The score is bold and brassy and always right on cue. A masterpiece.
