A life well lived. President Carter gave all of himself to make a world better for those to follow him. He was not the most popular… often ridiculed. But, he served as a shining example of what every American should aspire to: grace, humility, hard work, and compassion for others.

The permanent staff of the Michigan Democratic Party organized and bargained their first contract this year. The two main reasons why staff voted to unionize were to provide stability and structure in the workplace and to “walk the walk” and live up to the pro-worker values of the Democratic Party.
