Try the Dick and Jane series, lol. JK, reading is best when it is based on a topic you are interested in. There is certainly a wider selection than those with a sociological/political bent. Try some real history; those who forget their history are destined to repeat it. See what we're repeating.

In the U.S., the constitution has an amendment to remove tyranny, but we don't seem to want to use it. Sounds like you could use that in the UK, too, but also seem unwilling.
