I am exhausted and have a little PTSD from working an 18 inning playoff game in Seattle in 2022. I should have been working the first ever World Series game in Seattle tonight. Stupid Springer. And, no, I'm not bitter.....

Truth. I'm still stunned. I've not been this sad about the game that I love since Dusty Baker took Russ Ortiz out of the game and let him keep the ball in Game 6 of the 2002 World Series.

There's room on the Mariner bus. Giants fan for over 55 years, retired in Seattle, my 10th year working at the ballpark and living a dream of being around baseball and baseball fans for 81+ games a year. I want the win for all of the people that are lifelong M's fans to get their first title.

It was beautiful and the chants for the ex-lovable loser/now loveable winner were as deafening as those for Polanco's hit.
