I heard Propaganda say on a recent podcast about community organizing that “marching is for young knees” and I am honored to stand alongside and support the voices of this younger generation of leadership however I can.

Additionally, seeing how many local initiatives that are impacting thousands of individuals locally are being led by passionate, well-informed, and courageous youth encourages me and gives me hope.

I am so encouraged to see so many here in our community willing to stand in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors and refuse to buy in to the xenophobic narratives and demonization of immigrants perpetuated by the current administration.

We’ve never been the biggest band even by local standards, but hearing that we’ve left even a small imprint, even in the one-to-one, warms my heart a great deal. Thank you all. (5/5)
