Dan, congrats on this accomplishment. As a former sportswriter in the U.S. I was impressed with all of the stories you were able to find and I learned a lot about some of the lesser known and charming spots.

I'm officially out on court storming and have been for a long time. When I covered Cincinnati, they had an older guy who often sat on the bench with the team at road games. Bearcats lose at Charlotte and older guy gets trampled and breaks collar bone. Maybe this makes me old.

Correct. It is much more of a novelty for me than it was back in the day. I don't love it to the level I love Skyline from my Cincinnati days, but I'm not going to pass it up when in the Southeast.

It has certainly not kept up with the growth of the area. That said, the rocking chairs and Bojangles provide a couple of redeeming qualities.

Can you put the Kindle/tablet on airplane mode so it won't vanish when it hits the expiration date? Only downside is that it won't sync between devices.

I'm afraid that worry is justified. But they are due to actually get something going. That said, it's gonna get ugly if they lose or even draw.
