💯 I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a first draft and wrote back to the writer saying, "Hey, here's what you wrote in your pitch that really excited me. Can we get some of that in here?" At times I've actually copied and pasted text from the pitch *into* the draft itself.

i think all the Scientology stuff I read in the piece early this morning is still in the version I just pulled up. Also, still plenty of stuff about NDAs, though maybe I'm not noticing those cuts. You sure stuff has been deleted?

More precisely: I believe these are the settings that make everything look like cheap video, aka The Soap Opera Effect. In general you want to avoid it. Though maybe it makes games look better? I dunno, I’m not a sports guy.
