I would consider myself a hardcore gamer and I play a good portion of their first party games, but this is too rich for my blood. If this isn't for me, who is it for?

And you aren't an ass. I feel like I am coming across as argumentative when I don't mean to be. I see that viewpoint in the Xbox subreddits and I felt like those feelings were dismissed when there may be some validity to them.

One could argue that they are losing brand identity. Didn't you say that Halo is Xbox? Didn't someone else say that Xbox is just Microsoft Game Division now? Could the loss of branding eventually lead to a loss of community? Idk. That is why I thought it would be good to hear from that perspective

What is Xbox's identity now? Is it becoming solely about Game Pass now? I love the show and agree with most of what you said; I just think that it might be beneficial to include someone with an alternative viewpoint on these issues, especially now that Destin isn't there to play devil's advocate.

Telling loyal customers to just switch to a PS6 if they aren't happy doesn't address their concerns. Referring to them as "stuck in their bubble," "ignorant of the industry," or saying "no one cares" about their feelings isn't helpful. These individuals are the most loyal Xbox fans after all.

I think it's important to acknowledge the frustration some people feel about the value proposition changing mid-life cycle. Not everyone can afford multiple consoles, and it's understandable why they might be upset if they believe they would have been better off choosing the PS5.
