I just got back from a cruise to Alaska! I had spruce tip beer in Skagway. I didn't need to get out of bed to see humpback whales. I almost got a neck tattoo. I went to Canada for the first time. I think I ate ten steaks. I now know what mal de débarquement syndrome is.

I used a couple rainy days in the studio to start making calendars. This and one other version will first be available at Print Pomona Art Book Fair next weekend.

I’m thrilled to report that Sour✶Plum, my little riso studio, is now equipped with a Plum ink drum. It’s weird to see how much the setup here has grown in just a year!

So this is my pride and joy, a Riso SF5130. It prints one color at a time using vibrant, plant-based ink. My studio is currently equipped with aqua, fluorescent pink, yellow and black ink drums, but a fifth, new color drum is scheduled to arrive next week!
