Folks who aren’t in the space world won’t understand but let me say this—the magnitude of damage this administration has done to NASA and science research has set us back decades. It will take many many generations to get us back to where we were before Trump. And that’s assuming it’s funded

As you note earlier in the thread, it’s not even about “just present facts”, but about *intentionally* not introducing other factual context, likely to avoid conflict/bias/whatever.

The sad part is that you can shut down an entire line of research in a few months, which could take years or decades to rebuild the expertise. Much of the damage is increasingly irreversible.
