To clarify, this was alleged by some of the Watergate investigators that secret testimony was getting back to Nixon.

There were members in Congress secretly reporting the progress of the investigation back to the Whitehouse as well as obstructing it as best they could. That all came to a head when the tapes were released and defending Nixon was no longer viable.

According to Wikipedia it was 34 years old. Since the crash they have inspected other MD-11s and found stress cracks on their engine pylons as well.

I’d like something all along Mass between Union Station and Mount Vernon Square. I see a lot of cyclists trying to mix in either the heavy traffic and, too, I experience a lot of cyclists bailing out onto the sidewalks.

This is a recently remodeled building housing the Georgetown Graduate School. It used to be the HQ for Douglas Development.
Clueless on the bike lane unless the renovation itself required it. It’s a bike lane to nowhere. Both H St and Mass are arterial “stroads” and not bike/ped friendly.

In case an emergency evacuation is needed cabin crew need to be able to look out to see if it safe to exit that side of the plane.

Traffic lights are timed for cars almost exclusively. There might be an odd intersection or two where the engineers have, curmudgeonly, added a few extra seconds for pedestrians. But for cyclists? NADA.
Though I suppose the couple of lights with bike symbols count for something.
