Mets will save ~$9 million in NPV on Manaea’s $75 million deal, with $23.25M deferred over 10 years, per @willsammon.bsky.social

Depending on how much is deferred from each season, the numbers could slightly change, but contract should land around $66 million ($22 million AAV).

Mets are going to try to turn Clay Holmes into a starter.

I think he has the potential with his sinker/slider/sweeper combination and the potential to add a changeup.
