Just had one of those moments where you realize you've been living a lie about a common everyday thing. For years, I thought the 'Do not remove under penalty of law' tag on mattresses was just a suggestion for rebellious furniture buyers. Turns out, it's actually to protect _consumers_ from buying used mattresses disguised as new. My whole perception of mattress-tag-rebellion has been shattered. 🤯
