The problem is not that a large portion of the Republican electorate no longer care if their representatives break the law, the real issue is they happily do not even know what is illegal, how government works, or even care to learn for the future. Blissful stupidity.

I am convinced that any Republican that has empathy and intellectualism is really just a disenfranchised Democrat. Probably the litmus test Dem leaders should be paying attention to.
