Fan of eighties music and films. Born in Essex and now living my best life up in Scotland and have the best family and of course the dog. Can’t forget about her!
Nice to get a shout out and will be listening to the latest episode tomorrow as I’ve caught up now. So that’s a must as I’ve said before this is a great podcast.

Still loving this brilliant podcast guys. I’m now on episode 16. Loved the Scarred for Life episode and still enjoying finding out about new music you guys are talking about. Keep it up and hope you have something else lined up once you’ve done your 101 songs.

Have just finished your episode on Live Aid. And again a very interesting one. So good to be informed on tracks I’ve never heard of before, for example David Bowie with Time Will Crawl had no idea that was in the top 40. Onwards to the next episode and still enjoying this brilliant podcast.

So sad to hear this today. Another musician who made an impact and the music which I grew up with in the eighties. R.I.P Dave Ball Stephen Luscombe only last month and from one of my favourite bands Depeche Mode, Andy Fletcher back in 2022. All gone too soon. Thanks for the music guys 🙏

Definitely entertaining and now I’m looking up other songs that are linked with nuclear war. So far have found;
Let’s Make A Bomb- Heaven 17
Everyday Is Like Sunday- Morrissey
Flame Of The West- Big Country
Not sure if these are ones you’ve yet to mention. Will be listening to your playlist.

Just came across this podcast yesterday and loving it. I’m just starting episode four and as I was growing up in this decade the music was something else! Also hearing of artists/ groups I’ve never heard of before. Just brilliant and very interesting too👍
