Just in case anyone out there wanted to understand how insanely complicated German definite and indefinite articles are (they even re-use some of then, like DER and DEN in completely different grammatical situations) - now you know (4x as many as English by my count)! 😄

👇The energy we waste calling ppl dumb b/c they lie is misdirected - many of them are very purposefully lying to achieve the very end below. It's not dumb, it's evil. And the people who casually accept this behaviour may be both dumb & evil, so stop passively accepting & actively spreading lies pls.

#YouTube embed thumbnail aspect ratio screwing up? Just figured out a fix: YT default embed code (for me) is width="560" height="315" - that's 16x9 but width is small enough that YT's using some zoomed-in thumbnail option instead. Use at least width="720" height="405" & problem gone for me!

We mostly did this to ourselves by virtue of our cavalier attitude towards social media IMO. I think it accounts (in a wide variety of ways) for a great deal of what ails Western society these days. And I'm really not sure if we're societally past the point of learning from it, which is saddening.🙁
