The Olympics should be fun. US, Russia, Turkey, Isreal, Hungary, North Korea, the Puppet state of Venezuela and Greenland. But on the plus side the parade of nations will be quicker. Except of course it will take awhile to get Trump carrying the US flag in his golf cart around the the track.

I was too I was talking to another history major and was explaining pretty rudimentary stuff. I was questioning his degree or if he needed to go see if he could ACE a cognitive exam. So my faith in his mental capacity is restored, now I am concerned about mine.

In 1865 post Civil War none of the Confederate Leaders were punished, besides Davis for a bit. This lead to the Lost Cause, Jim Crow and KKK. The reason given was national unity. Same with Nixon. Also I would bet that the slow walk with Garland also had its roots in that not offending MAGA BS.

Just remember to ignore the National Unity crowd. They played their tunes in 1865 and after Watergate. The Confederacy Leaders and Nixon all walked away Scott free. How did that work out. To say nothing of Jan 6.

I have not seen a view showing that. Either way the agent was on the drivers side of the car, not the front, when they put at least two shots point blank into the car with a passenger in the car. He was no longer in danger when he put those two shots in the car, if he ever was.

Hope is good. But false hope is a drug we can’t afford. My advice, give up on the federal government. Focus on the state you live in. The federal government cannot exist without the states support and most importantly revenue. Grass roots groups focused on resistance through state and local laws.

Then what. You are telling me that the Senate is going to remove? Give me just 10 Republican Senators that you think will vote to remove him? Then tell me that Fetterman can be counted on to vote to remove. Convince me.

He doesn’t care. I know that, you know that as rational people. But he doesn’t care. Leaders with 35% approval ratings an economy in the tank, pedophile accusations don’t normally run around the world bombing everybody. The might invade one big country to distract . But they don’t fight EVERYBODY.

Congress if the Dems win big. He will claim it was rigged, shut it down and assign loyalists from each state. Who will stop him? Mike Johnson? The Supreme Court? Play it out. He knows a Dem Congress is the end of him. He will do whatever it takes to stop that. So prepare and get ahead of him.

Not all. They have shown more backbone then the Schumer crowd. And it’s up to us to push and support them. Newsome, Pritzker, Walz etc are the only ones with any power. If not them who?

Stop making futile assaults against a fortified position. Use the places you have power. The States. Indictments should be made against ICE agents, Noem and others. Use the power of the Blue states economies. Give up on DC. Make it irrelevant. It’s what the Republicans want. Work together.

Someone still needs to explain what the plan is once / if you find any republicans to vote for impeachment. We have seen this show before. What are the odds of conviction and removal from the senate. Any answer other than 0% in WRONG!
