I share with you the seventh image in my Dark Reflections series, "Ticket to Ride." Folks familiar with the series will notice several call-outs to previous images, as this station is the nexus though which my characters travel through time and space to their ultimate fates. Enjoy and share:)

I had a lot of fun mimicking a traditional ukiyo-e style for this image, depicting the fictional Lady Matsu defending herself pretty well against two robbers. Published in Fantasy Flight Games' Legacies of War Lion Clan rules supplement. © 2021 Fantasy Flight Games

You have to think someone likes your art when they put it on their body permanently. All the way over in St. Petersburg, Russia! That was a highlight moment, for sure.

Here is one more in my Dark Reflections series, "Rue the Day". This one comes straight out of my love for the little back alleys and side streets in Europe. Lots of little hidden horrors lurk herein. Tip: the newspaper has a good read of things. Enjoy!

I share "Living the Dream", which is inspired by a world I was born into that just plain disappeared before my eyes. One of my favorites in the series of dark reflections, in spite of being technically very hard to compose and paint, at least for me:) Where is the kitty?

As a bookend to my introductory post, and in the spirit of the coming holidays, I offer up the last (so far) in my Dark Reflections series, Tis the Season.

Hello! I will be exploring this place thoroughly. In the meantime and by way of introduction, I am sharing the first image in my Dark Reflections series, which offers quaint scenes from the past with a bit of a horrible twist.
