Tonight, ham steak, poached in olive oil and butter, Rows of Abundance baby organic potatoes, prepared by roasting them then smashing em with the tines of a fork, they were creamy and buttery, fresh green beans served plain, my homemade chutney (for the ham), and German mustard. #homecooking

Farroto is like risotto, only with farro instead of rice. This is a green peas and wild mushroom farroto that I prepared for a dinner with friends. Used chicken broth and mushroom liquor from soaking the dried morels, fresh shiitake, Parmesan, S&P, shallot, minced parsley garnish. #homecooking

Soaked for 3 days in kazusake marinade, broiled under a hot broiler, served atop a mound of baby yellow onion sprouts. Sides of blue sweet potatoes with homemade crème fraiche and roasted sprouts with pomegranate, pomegranate molasses and toasted walnuts.
