The clearest example yet that Trump is suffering from some kind of dementia. But the Democrats need to hold a sober press conference with Hirono and a doctor or two to express serious concern. Just having her comment is not nearly enough.

The comments about Alger Hiss by Corey Robin on The New York Times's Ezra Klein podcast may have set a Times record for most errors in a single paragraph. Congratulations all around for such whoppers as Chambers would leave documents in a pumpkin for the Russians to pick up.

We love "Only Murders in the Building" but we'll live by canceling HULU. Since the GOP refuses to do anything, it's in our hands. Our subscription is only a 10th of a smidgen I'm sure but it's the first of many to protest against corporations who that canonize dead fascists.

So what is stopping the Kennedy's (except rfk, jr., of course) from establishing a Kennedy center in exile, renting a hall, giving out the usual awards and having a grand old time without Trump, who will stamp around the White House having a fit because he was outfoxed?

In the entire history of rock n roll, indeed maybe even popular music, has there ever been a worse name for a band?

Can you imagine going into Tower Records and telling the clerk, "I"m really into the Final solution." Or, "Is the Final Solution here?

While working on the Hiss case in the '70s, we were puzzled by FBI documents such as these. It wasn't a program we were familiar with. We soon learned the FBI was opening up concentration camps for leftists in case of "national emergency". sound familiar? One excerpt:

By far the greatest comedic moment in TV history, hell the greatest moment of any type in TV history.

But here's why I'm sure it was a setup. Mr. Ed could never have hit Koufax, now Don Drysdale would have been another matter:

if Donald Trump watched Good Night and Good Luck last night the only thing that would have interested him would have been the loyalty oath. I'm sure he would have loved to see it so he could adapt it for his own use.

For anyone else curious about it, here is the CBS loyalty oath:

@chrislhayes.bsky.socialI am writing this as a fan. On your and other MSNBC programs are ads for the ACLU, NAACP, anti-Hunger, St. Judes, SPLC. The ads are similar; all want 63 cents a day and $19 a month. Who does them? How much of a cut do they get? Shouldn't donors know where their money goes?
