Both Markey and @SenWarren have posts about Ozturk, which is correct.

Neither of them are posting about the ICE / WPD collab, eithe. Weird.

I like Sen. Moore, but the fact that he's said nothing on here about the ICE / WPD situation when a) it happened on the same day he posted this and b) we only know about WPD's culpability bc people filmed the police while he supports a bill making it harder to film cops feels...

This might be a hot take, but I think they're coming from great white sharks.

Local news death example in a single two paragraph article.

"Did you see it?" says the Gardner, MA newspaper to its readers about a Starlink launch on the other side of the country.

Milton wins on a technicality.

The strict constitutionalist in me is elated while the "housing is good and the MBTA bill is fine" creature in me is just wholly irritated.

At Spicy Water in Millbury, and the locals are RAVING about the movie "Red One."

If we're not collectively getting behind "Scoop Dogg" what are we even doing as a society.

So I'm still reading Twixxer but I am getting a little more active over at BlueSky - @jeff.masstransparency.org if you're so inclined.

Hoping to get a lot of stuff relaunched over Christmas break. We'll see how that goes...

Kind of a stark reminder of how much reach this incident got.

I still can't drive past the location of the fire without thinking about it.

I'm one of the storytellers for this event tomorrow at 19Carter in Berlin, MA. I've already heard one of the other stories and it's great, so if you're looking for a good time tomorrow afternoon...

My wife: "Not all clowns are Pennywise!"

For those who haven't decamped and enjoy folk music in the greater Worcester area, the Friends of the Library have a wonderful performer coming next week:

So Millbury shot down the MBTA zoning mainly because a large part of the town meeting believes they'll put in "super tall buildings" in zoning limited to three stories.

I keep forgetting to promote this, but I will be at the @CharltonLibrary next Tuesday discussing book bans and my @masstransprncy work. If you're in the area, please come!
Book Banning in Massachusetts
Local journalist Jeff Raymond moonlights as an activist and founder of MassTransparency (www. masstransparency. org) in Millbury, Massachusetts. He successfully fought a book banning effort in his hometown, and will discuss those efforts as well as MassTransparency's attempt to learn more about book banning statewide.…Learn More . I continue to believe that you would get a *lot* of traction in prison reduction / abolition circles with conservative "tough on crime" types if the conversation was reframed on the cost savings of the alternatives.

You don't even need to abolish cops to do it.

My best case scenario was a Harris win with a GOP Senate. Looks like we're at least getting the GOP Senate.

I'm watching CNN coverage but there is no election night coverage I trust more than @DecisionDeskHQ, for the record. They do the hard work to get to this point.

There's a joke in here about misspent welfare funds that someone sharper than I am should make.

This is the 1st time I've felt any good news about this election.

Saltzer is a great pollster & has an amazing track record. Trump won this state against Biden by 11 in 2020. Even if it were 47-44 Trump this would be good news.

I still have no clue who will win, but...
