Using terrorists and armed militias to crack down on peaceful dissent? Huh- wonder if that is happening anywhere else in the world right now?

Would Oliver Glasner be on that list?

It is noteworthy that these freaks live in a fantasy world of power and domination that is, to put it charitably, never going to happen for them in reality.

Look, Tom Brady has no history of non-compliance with league rules so I’m sure it will all be fine.

Fun, and some success. Growing revenue is tied to competitiveness (UCL revenue, secured for one year at least) and a new/upgraded stadium (obviously a long-term project). If you think they are making cash losses now, wait til the stadium gets underway.

For sure, but a good portion of that relates to structural issues (smallest matchday revenue of the Big 6) and turning over basically the entire squad in 2022-23. The long-term outlook is still uncertain but recent success on player sales gives me some hope for the future.

Getting anywhere near the ridiculous price they paid for Felix is close to wizardry in my opinion. Admittedly the Saudi league bails them out in this case, but the other sales (Madueke, Petrovic) have been for tidy profits.

Glad to have found your feed again after I fled the “bad place”. As I recall you were quite negative on Maresca’s hiring… does the season’s results (and I guess I would include the CWC in this season) change your perspective at all?

Admittedly he’s not the finished product but I would rather have someone with PL experience (albeit limited) than Gyokeres or Ekitike. Btw love the pod.

One of the most serious negative consequences of the online age is that it promotes behaviour that, in the real world, will get you punched.

This is only one data point but we live close to the border (as most Canadians do) and would typically visit 4-6 times per year but won’t return until 2028 (or maybe later?). Both out of principle (the 51st state nonsense) and caution (don’t want to be disappeared to El Salvador arbitrarily)

One of the very few things I regretted about deactivating the other app was leaving this absolute genius behind… so glad to see you over here
