Original reporting was that the CEO shooter had a silencer, and also that the gun jammed. Neither are true. The gun was a Brügger & Thomet VP9, a veterinary pistol used to put down animals, pictured here as manufactured, barrel and all. It is single action weapon. There were no jams.

NYPD says they assume the CEO shooter left on a bus at 178th St Port Authority station because he's not seen leaving. BUT they totally ignored that there is a tunnel going to the subway under the Port Authority

You know, if the Senate does vote to approve Hagseth the government may have to put an "interlock device" on the nuclear football (that you have to blow into before you can open it, like courts impose after a DWI.)
