I made a previous post about income disparity and its widespread affects, some interesting stats on what is happening.

Income disparity, in my opinion, is the undercurrent of much of the anger, frustration, and tension between us US folks. Trying to create tensions by laying blame on immigrants, “others”, and various groups is an artificial distractions.
