There are a few other characters from the third book who I hope are in this season of the series.

Yes, he does indeed, and in a scene that pretty much explains his character without taking several chapters to get around to the reveal of what his ability is. The later comment by Demarzel when they show Day the anomaly in Seldon’s projection finishes the job.

The Mule is a major figure in the third book, and it looks like the series is sticking pretty close to how Asimov wrote him. Otherwise, the series is very different from the books (but that’s actually good since nothing happens in the books lol)
