Maine guy, pro nerd, recently found my legs, Diet Dr Pepper addict, very amateur photographer, TV aficionado, tone deaf music geek, Letterkenny lover, Canadian in spirit, trying to learn French, pics are mine unless otherwise stated. No MAGA/crypto/porn/DM
It was quite nice. We’re in a drought here in Maine unfortunately so the leaves don’t seem to be lasting long this year.

They’re only about 75 minutes from the Quebec border - about 3 hours from Quebec City.

Daunting! They're located 2 hours from the nearest town over old logging roads (17 miles of which are currently in horrendous condition). We were without cell reception for about 6 hours. The nearest bit of civilization with electricity is 35 miles away.

The railway was a short 13-mile line built by Great Northern Paper Company in 1927, they were only used for 6 years and shut down during The Great Depression. In 1996 a group of volunteers went to work and continue to maintain the trail.

Not this time!

Very unlikely, they’ve been sitting idle for over 90 years - that’s a lot of harsh Maine winters!
