I would like to thank our UA721 PEI Building Trades board member John McInnis for delivering our $500 donation to the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry-Food Bank last month. Lots of people are still struggling here on PEI.

A huge thank you to Tom Griffiths for a eye opening tour of their exceptional training centre. It’s projects like this one that sets the bar for trades training. Great things are happening in Nova Scota.

On April 28th the PEI Building Trades President took part in NationalDay Of Mourning at Major’s Hill Park Ottawa. Jeff spoke on behalf of Islanders killed, suffered illness or were hurt due to work issues back home. A reef was laid in there honour as well.

A proud IUOE member. This picture gives me tremendous pride as a IUOE member seeing my fellow 793 IUOE brother and sisters in the cranes behind me restoring Parliament Hill. Even during the the Day Of Mourning Ceremony the hum of the cranes calmed my anxiety.
