Congress needs to pass a law stating that if someone is charged with a crime their political status, or the fact that they're running for office cannot prevent prosecution and/or conviction. Otherwise, the costs to the taxpayers, investigations, and evidence mean nothing. NO MORE SPECIAL TREATMENT!

I've been thinking about this and the way I see it we're either at the oligarchy stage, or the demagogy stage of the cycle, but we very well might also be in the beginning of the tyranny stage. Where do you think we are?
