If you are a same-sex or interracial couple that has not married yet, do not delay, do it now, because it's likely your right to marry may not be available in the USA in the future.

Second, the 2022 Respect for Marriage Act codified these marriages, so if future ruling changes the precedent, same-sex and interracial marriages go back to acceptance by state. This Act requires states to recognize marriages that were performed legally at the time.

If you're in a same sex or multi racial marriage, don't panic. First, the Supreme Court can't go back and overrule: there has to be a new case that would have good reason to reset the precedent.
