#Ojai looking good on my #trailrun today
Looking down the Ojai Valley from the foothills. Orchards to the left, some trails in the foreground. Luci’s trail, with some cool sandstone rock, leads down to Shelf Road which is visible to the left. A nice view of Fox Canyon trail from Luci’s, which is across the canyon.

Rolled my ankle yesterday, so giving it the day off of running. Singletrack sampling from the Ojai River Preserve. #ojai
The Ventura River Preserve is backlit, with streaks of sunlight cutting through the haze. Climbing through a shaded Wills Canyon. Will I get jumped by a cougar hiding in the trees? Went for a lovely, dark, wet walk in the woods with my kid today. Found lots of mushrooms, had a great time. Feel free to chime in if you know what they are, because I’m hopeless.
