It's hard to get more than 3/4th of Americans to agree on anything! This is what we're fighting for.

New KFF polling shows 78% of the public say Congress should extend the ACA’s enhanced premium tax credits, which otherwise would expire at the end of the year.
That includes most Republicans and MAGA supporters. https://on.kff.org/4q7ElGy

Authoritarian tactics thrive when we normalize them.

Senator Chris Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to advocate for Kilmar Abrego Garcia—a Maryland resident mistakenly deported without charges. A Salvadoran official denied Van Hollen while admitting El Salvador is being paid to hold Garcia.
Who is Kilmar Ábrego García, the man wrongly deported to El Salvador?

Legal immigrants are being indiscriminately swept up and sent to places the government has no control over. And they clearly don’t care about the impact it has on people and their families.

Immigration courts were already backlogged with more than 3 million cases. Trump fired 20 judges and it's unclear if they will be replaced. How does this help him meet his goals?

Wherever you live in North Carolina, Trump’s action matters. Hundreds of water systems in the state were found to have elevated levels of PFAS in 2024. It’s estimated that nearly half of the nation’s tap water has PFAS in it.

Trump just pulled back a plan to regulate toxic, cancer-causing PFAS. It’s in hundreds of water systems in North Carolina.
PFAS, or “forever chemicals," are linked to cancer, birth abnormalities, and other health ailments. But Trump is pushing back a long-awaited plan to set federal limits on them.

DEI is still vital. At the end of 2021, the top 1% of households in the United States held 30.9% of the country's wealth, while the bottom 50% held 2.6%. The distribution of wealth skews to those advantaged by racially discriminatory policies and practices, not because poor people are lazy.
