I’ve been thinking similarly. Kings have a differential of -5.5 in 3PA, which is ranked 27th. In 22-23, Kings were 5th with +3.9. Concurrently, league average 3PA have trended up.

It’s six games against Cleveland, Boston and OKC and three each against Denver and Houston that should worry Kings fans. Go 4-8 and that’s 19 losses with 50 others left. The Warriors were 10th with 36 losses last year. It would be tough for Sac to finish 33-17.
They’ve dug themselves into a hole.

One difference is the two team’s strength of schedule is significantly different. Kings have the toughest schedule remaining in the conference while the Dubs have the easiest.
