The shit you could get off eBay in the late 90s for almost nothing (I mean under $10). Promo reel of Meat Puppets & Public Enemy music videos.

Cleaning the house & rediscovering what I have.

This was my chance for some experimental photography & also pay tribute to the PNW scene I grew up in.

I was just a young teen when Charles Peterson was in Seattle clubs capturing blurred-out magic for Sub Pop. So b/c of Teppen I found myself in a Seattle club on a Friday night & shot in his style.

We keep getting invited to stuff so we’re gonna keep showing up. I have some words on this but first Rich will be in Brooklyn for Haru with top notch photography. I essentially stood on the side of the stage all evening for Haru’s concert.

Yeah this the monster truck cds, Hana picture disc, & a few more adult things too. I love that you can tell the Ram release is from Lake Shark b/c Sam aka The Rita, has a signature style. Gravure Girls – Saki Akai (the lo-rez art feels right)

A bunch of the tape releases and the Manami Toyota set w/ gravure booklet. I have alternate layouts of the SLK trifold artwork as I was a sounding board for the art direction. That Suzu tape is mean as hell w/ wicked photos. Gold band on the Sareee tape is a nice touch. Madusa has tons of extras.

The Blood Quest of Sera Risa is the ultra ltd version, number 1 of 6 that includes a DVD of the film he projects during performances and Gravure Girls CD. Mayu Iwatani has a hand cut belt around the album. Special edition of Women’s Most Violent that I think was for the last Japan tour.

End of an era: years worth of Slit Throats releases that became a mountain at Roman‘s house. It was covid so I said wait to ship & then the rule was the pile can grow until it falls on Maika (his cat) or he gets sick of it. Mailed it out before heading to Japan for Machine Parts. I’ll the post more.

Coming this week to Teppen is our interview with HARU NEMURI.

It's the 1st interview for the site & we are honored she spent so much time discussing her upcoming US/Canada tour & new album "ekkolaptómenos."

Head over to teppen.life. We spotlight artists doing meaningful work.

Going through photos from my last trip. Yumi, Act & me from Agaworld (I helped behind the scenes). After the group shot, they wanted a trio photo. I was tired, unshaven & disheveled, but I suppose friends don’t care about that. I always tell Act that her real legacy just started. 2026 will be proof.

Gonbe is the Kevin Nash of AWG, hitting em with a favored nations clause. She said, all cool and nonchalant, “Those marks gotta pay double for a message from me. This ain't show friends; it’s show business.”

August 30th in Everett I’ll be performing at Artisans Books & Coffee. It’s free, which is the price everyone likes for entertainment. I’ll have merch too. A good lineup of the Seattle experimental/noise/weirdo music scene.

I got asked to play at a festival today by the city of Federal Way. The park had hundreds of people (though lots of activities were going on). I was in between a solo dancer & a Taekwondo exhibition. Strangest/fun gig I’ve had in years.

8 string bass ambience.

It’s 10pm and there is the sign of Eimi Nishina on campus (I assume she has an unspoken scissor lift certification). It happens every summer.

Reminds me of this Blixa DVD, I waited a few years to grab the free bonus show download and that shit was gone. I emailed the label and they laughed “nah sorry it’s been removed”. Someone has it and it’s probably on youtube by now but still.

Speaking of ProCo here is my V1 Rat from 1979. The first run had the big box and a Tone knob instead of a Filter knob.

When Monte Vista in Tacoma shutdown they had a liquidation sale & that’s the only way I could ever afford this.

Posted on X but I’ll put it here. I’ve been collecting gear for over 30yrs. I love the history of it. Systech was in Kalamazoo & related to ProCo. Greg Lake needed a boost & that led to this which also includes filtering. Zappa fav. but Joe Gore & Les Claypool also use it. Stupidly rare.

It is possible. Hell I saw Miyuki in December. She also stood next to Tenko’s table during the Maru/Mari war.
