Still having problems but at least it looks pretty (the one on the right)

I got it last spring. I still have the S2000, as well as my other nonsense cars 🙂

I like size comparisons of old cars to new cars. Here: the Europa is still lower than the Integra even with it’s back being jacked up over 18”.

The Integra Type-S is somehow better for being front-wheel drive and I will not be accepting other opinions. 😂

Dunlop replicas.

Lotus is an interesting example. The Europa is in no way, shape, or form a supercar. But I think some variants of its direct descendant, the Esprit, might be, or might nearly be.

It’s kind of like the French version of a Jaguar XJS.

Apparently a first-ever seen issue for my Lotus engine: cracked oil pickup tube. Shown repaired here (hopefully 🙂).

Perfect weather for old cars today

I could see that. I’m not tall so I tend to fit these pretty well.

My dad’s Healy was an example where I really didn’t like driving it the first time but it grew on me quite a bit. Amazing car but maybe to your point it also drove a lot more truck like than even an MGB for example.

If you guys like this, you’ll love 1970s Lotus. Plus you get exposed throttle and clutch cables!

Detroit Electric spotted in Ann Arbor

1. I bought the car in pieces, last owner’s friend had rebuilt it,was seized
2. Local shop to me rebuilt it again
3. No oil to cams after 20 miles. Local shop now out of business
4. Sent it to actual specialist in LA, almost done. It had been totally screwed and now I have a new Weber head, yay!

The MGB upgraded front rotors are vented but plain now on both cars.

My Europa has slotted solid rotors up front, why, I don’t know lol. I converted the Europa’s rear brakes to discs. From my limited time driving the Europa so far, the brakes are not that amazing, hah.

This is a very similar but much more cost-effective setup to what my white MGB is running.

MG RV8 vented rotors and aluminum calipers added to the GT.

You familiar with this kind of study, age vs life satisfaction? I mean who knows but it oddly feels true to me.

Also - you’re so young still! Maybe you’re just in some kind of odd phase there!

A rare shot of a car I own being used for an actual car thing.

The original TT concept in the 90’s was also like that.

Got it out today. Initial thoughts:
-not really as fast as my roadster but noticeably stronger than stock
-car is overall very smooth, easy and nice to drive
-brakes need work
-of all the cars we’ve worked on, this is the only one I could see using as anything like a daily. Excellent in that regard

Found a Lotus place in California that can work on it! Fingers crossed I can drive the Europa again by Spring 🤞
