You may be right, but indications of dissatisfaction from constituents means potentially fewer votes in the next election. And unfortunately, they will do anything for either donations, or votes.

One suggestion would be for both sides to stop putting up rich old white guys who have zero idea what it is like to be a regular citizen into high public office.
Our past two presidents couldn't buy a gallon of milk on their own without help. We need to not have out of touch leadership.

Eight years in the military, one war, two ex-wives, and 65 years on this planet. I can imagine a lot of bad things. And they are coming. My intent is to not make them worse. But if it is, I can probably handle it. I just prefer to not see the world ruined.

Well, I haven't had an opportunity to formulate an answer, but I'm confident shooting people isn't the answer. Kinda like Iran and Israel trying to prove who is the biggest murderer. Nobody wins that pissing contest. We just end up with innocent dead people.
