I'm expecting to see a lot of fisherman in sou'westers and drowned rats at my door. :-)

We have to have a system before the charge. Otherwise the Peninsula companies will simply move away as employees can not afford to go to work.

NYC also has a transit system that is effective and efficient.

That's hilarious. Well done.

The whole health care system hasn't moved much from the 1800's. For instance, my doctor fills in a form for my blood work, prints it off, I take it to my appointment, they type it in, print off a new form, blood and form goto lab, lab types in results and sends to dr. So much duplication.

Could have been this
Emergency SOS Feature:
Samsung phones have an "Emergency SOS" feature that automatically dials 911 after a series of button presses or after detecting a fall or crash.
Disable or Adjust the Feature: Go to your phone's Settings, "Safety and emergency," find "Emergency SOS."

Looks like you got good value for your money. Remember to put some sun screen up there, don't want to burn the dome while your out observing weather.

Does that mean there will be more unplanned rapid deconstruction of the parking garage?

Well done Tim and Halifax Examiner.

There were probably enough highlight reel shots made in the page playdowns to make up a whole show! I am continually amazed by the shot making. When we look back at the infamous Al Hackner shot which has now become routine with modern day shot making and brushing. Truly amazing and fun to watch!

What a game!!!! Would really like to see a rematch in the finals.
2 of the world's best. Congrats to Team Homan, good luck to Team Einarson in the semis.

Thanks. TSN.ca/curling/scotties/schedule is blank beyond yesterday. They may wish to fix that. Found a link off curl canada that takes me to a schedule as well....So here's hoping TSN updates their page.

That looks fun. Keep those muscles in top shape. Lots of games left.

With 2 salt mines in NS, that should be unpossible.

They work great. Got mine at Princess Auto I think

That sign is like the start of a song. Just need to add "Ain't got no cigarettes"....

Could be an entertaining commute home from work, if the salt shakers don't get a good base laid down prior to the freezing rain hitting.

That looks promising. I wonder why rail engine manufacturers didn't go with a battery car option....like days of old coal cars. They could be easily swapped out....maybe current draw is too large....Looking forward to a future post when we know what is being delivered.

I wonder. There are battery electric engines as well as super capacitor electric engines available. Depending on the cycle time of the shunt engine going between terminals, could work and maybe in conjunction with an overhead power source. Wait and see I guess.

Makes sense. I'm not sure we need any US alcohol. All the best alcohols are made in other countries....and many right here in Canada.

I had read the tweet earlier, but it is gone now. So I guess we'll not know until people start getting banned....or not. Keep up the good work.

That looks nice. Now we just need city to figure out Windsor street....

From the provinces Emergency Alert section:
www.alertready.ca/alert-types/
Drinking Water Contamination
When water quality is negatively affected and a boil-water advisory may be raised, cautioning use by the public.
Seems to explicitly be called out as a use for the system.
