TL;DR: Continue to automate the right things using AI, but be sure to use some of the time you've saved to read, write ... and think! www.jefflarche.com/2025/11/29/r...

At times when I lose hope, this is what I think of. And apparently I'm not alone

I get it now. How has this Netflix hit scored a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, on par with The Godfather and Everything Everywhere All At Once? In addition to an incredibly witty book and rich animation, its music is by Marcelo Zarvos, who has worked in classical and jazz as well as electonica. So much fun

This guy greeted me this morning in the walking part of my commute to downtown Chicago. Yes, I pass through a gorgeous patch of woods, on my way to the Morton Grove Metra train station.

So happy to be here on Bluesky. I blocked each of these accounts when they DMed me, but I can still see their status. Thank you Jay Graber and team!

This is my view from the Milwaukee, WI Westin hotel. I took it today, from the same angle as the pic I took almost two months ago, from my window in the Westin in Las Vegas. Very different but I love both skylines

Finished a training session for June's half marathon. Two things I'm grateful for: 1.) That in my sixth decade of life I'm healthy enough to run one, and 2.) That the organizers produced a second tee shirt print run instead of just taking the full marathon shirts and cutting them off at the midriff

Just saw this 85-year-old film at Chicago's legendary Music Box Theater. The place was nearly sold-out. And the message hasn't been more relevant, sadly.

Based on this review, I excitedly tried to buy it online. Bookshop.org (my go-to) returned no copies, and Amazon listed a used hardcover copy for $599 and a paperback for $799. I could buy it for less on Kindle but am too much of a bibliophile to succumb. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/07/b...
