If the roof is louvered, with drainage then the kit will be cheaper…the framing/structure easy for a carpenter as would be a flat/sloped/peaked roof. The mechanism I’ve seen for the louvered roofs can for sure be built by a skilled trades person but will likely cost more.

They are integrated (not the right word perhaps) but there is a discharge vent and an intake vent to the outside from the HRV (fantec hero150)

If I replace my air exchanger is the pressure balancing required ? Not a like for like swap going from a 150 cfm to a 200. Forced air electric heat pump system.

They are long term residents- first saw them in 2015 or so

Wish they had let the original reno continue- believe we were told cancelling the court house project would save millions- u rarely save $ cancelling an existing project and now we have two ugly buildings both costing more than planned (1 private $ 1 public). Hope they come up with a better design
