This weekend, Sinterklaas—the saint that brings presents to Dutch children of all ages on/around 5 December—brought me a nice new dm screen.

My D&D party did not achieve much tangible results yesterday, but they learned a lot:
- some npc's lie and cheat
- some mysteries are too dangerous, for now
- "run away to fight another day" is a solid tactical solution
- if you don't act on things you were hired to do, someone else may step in
- some npc's lie and cheat

I'm a happy subscriber to Owlbear Rodeo, even though I almost exclusively play in-person #ttrpg sessions.
I use #owlbearrodeo to cast the player version of the maps to a 2nd monitor that I use as a battlemap with physical minis. My players love it!

I don't use AI in my worldbuilding. My maps don't look fancy, but I like them and I know _why_ each hex is the way it is.
