The best I’ve seen it described is that it’s like you’re standing in your room and it’s pitch black. You know where everything is and what it will look like when you turn the lights on, you just can’t turn that light on in your head.

Sorry for all the replies! But I guess it is similar to your torso. Sometimes I know I want to make a picture with a lot of little circles. How it comes out in the end though isn’t visualized. And I like your torso. That looks really cool.

Or with some of my other ones I’ll think that maybe certain symmetrical lines would look cool, but I don’t have an idea of how those lines are going to look beforehand. I’ll draw one line and go from there. Other times I may see a pattern or something in the negative space as I draw, and add to that

Thank you! I appreciate that! And I don’t think I conceptualize it too much honestly. Like the picture you replied to, I was messing around in ProCreate with the symmetrical divider thing, and thought to myself that filling out every other one might look cool. All the other stuff is done as I go.
