I actually wrote out a little animal documentary type script for this image but it was too long so here it is in picture form!

Oh, also be warned! If you google images of amorphous globosus, you'll see flesh & blood!
Gay and lesbian morpho (amorphous globosus) couples are actually really important in the ecosystem. Birthing couples typically have up to 12 mufflings, but can only manage to take care of half that amount. Instead of barely feeding and poorly raising the full 12, a nonbirthing couple will take half of the mufflings back to their own nest, where they will be consumed. If an adult morpho has birthed previous years but was unable to this year, there is also an off chance that they will raise the extra mufflings themselves.
