@ecosystemengineer.bsky.social thanks for this insight. Really interesting. I have talked to a former exec at the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. They tell intriguing stories of how they topple the old plantation trees. Would be cool to do some combination of that and experiments like you suggest.

We should identify the best natural climate solutions for each context based on a holistic approach to the Earth system to avoid counterproductive initiatives.
