some thoughts about how persona 4's story and its queer storylines don't resonate well with young people, but that's alright because it's about a specific age group and should stay that way. there are ways to improve it without "adapting" it for a younger audience it was never intended to be for.

this is so stupid but I'm terrible at baking, always seem to mess it up, but suddenly...i just made these perfect brownies. I was so shocked and proud I literally filmed myself taking them out of the oven 😭 (they're delicious too!)

i'll never forget when the kh youtube uploaded a kh3 trailer wherein you could see ventus in the background, perfectly fine, and when my tweet pointing him out got attention, they edited him out and re-uploaded it.
can't blame anyone on the kh team for missing it. i was truly on ven watch.

video game writing is such effective storytelling bc games are *inherently* immersive. the existence of the 'choose your own adventure' genre of games is obvious proof, but not exclusively so. movies/tv can't replicate players feeling like they're part of even unchangeable, linear stories.

final fantasy really needs to shed its image of being so obnoxiously heterosexual. on the promo side, square enix seems so afraid of sharing or even bringing attention to their gay and potentially-gay pairings. none of these pairs were featured in their valentine's posts, but they should have been!
