Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the show! It was a great listen. I think Foundations (and especially the Starter Collection) is probably the best thing to happen to Magic since JumpStart.

Why did democrats lose so terribly in this last election? Because they’re not f*****g listening. They don’t want to listen. And then they’re shocked when people disengage and don’t turn up to vote. 2024 proved that it’s not enough to be against something, you have to be for something too.

And there’s nothing. I’ve tried to be a poll worker, offer my technical skills as an IT professional, and even considered running for local office and the Democratic Establishment does not care at all. I’ve never been asked by the DNC or a local branch for my thoughts on any issue, ever.

Populists and grassroots movements are strangled in their infancy. DNC leadership doesn’t want to hear from citizens or involve them in the political process - they just want our money. I’ve looked for ways to become more involved in politics that don’t involve annoying strangers or my checkbook.
