This is basically how I build drawer boxes. If you have a table saw, the dados are easy, but you can buy the lumber with the dados already cut from places like Rockler Woodworking.

I had a lot of fun doing this! Painting is clearly not my strongest artistic talent, but I'm very proud of how this turned out. Also, I'm a giant sci-fi dork, and I ended up adding a bonus ship so it would coordinate with the paint-and-sip I did almost a decade ago.

Lyndzi's yarn is so pretty! I bought "Twix My Nethers" in like...2020? And have been back several times since. One day I saw a bunch of really pretty colorways inspired by a show I'd never heard of, eventually looked up OFMD, and got hooked. 😅

It's not the silliest thing I've ever made, but it is pretty silly, and makes me happy. I'm especially proud of the bee butt. :D

Heh, I got as far as buying the seeds, aspiring to be one of those people. Grow the flax! Look at the pretty flowers! Eat the seeds! Spin the fibers! Totes possible! (The package is several years old now, and still sealed. 😬)

My brain wouldn't let it go until I figured out for sure if it was possible to get all three colors into the twists. And it is! But it does NOT improve the tangling situation. 😅
