Isn't the support of various far right leaders around the world for Putin and the like evidence that the cold war communist boogeyman is long in his grave? Yet they still use it as a dog whistle.

I have noticed that news media is not the bastion of freedom and guardians of democracy they purport themselves to be. Confronted by naked fascism, they are milktoast at best. Is it because of large corporate media ownership, threats and influence pedaling or a combo of it all?

I continue to be flabbergasted by the many folks who continue to be participants in fascism, to be clear, Trumpism. All objective measures indicate the US is right in the middle of it. His continued rhetoric i.e. with respect to perceived threats WILL doom you.

Delaying sanctions plays right into Putins hands, allowing Ukrainians to die and a brutal dictator to consolidate his position stealing land of a sovereign nation with settled borders. This also embolden Chinese aggression wrt Taiwan. Trump started the slide during his first term.

The murder of Al Jazeera journalists ought to cause outrage. It is a relatively balanced news outlet, especially compared to many US propaganda sources with which most are familiar. The world is nuts.

Part of the responsibility for the chaos in the US lies with the Supreme Court for shirking their responsibility to check a rogue CinC. Perhaps ultra-conservatism combined with fanatical religion is not a good combination.

I now believe members of the Trump admin will need to beheld accountable for complicity in both the Gazan genocide and for their gross incompetence that is bringing the world closer to a general outbreak in hostilities. Obvious signs were ignored by an enormously ignorant electorate.

I think everyone should dump starlink. Hasn't been around long and I'm sure alternatives exist. Don't fund your own enslavement.

I believe that creators, etc deserve compensation but in this troubled time a wider audience could be reached by not putting important points behind various pay/subscription walls.

The US should be properly ashamed of their Presisident and VP after that debacle in the WH with President Zelensky. In the event of war, Drumpf would just let the west be destroyed and move into a nice little golden dacha in Russia with his lover, Putin.
