Even though it doesn’t feel as fresh as its predecessor, #WickedforGood is a thrilling, dazzling & stunning counterpart that beautifully compliments the original. By far, Erivo & Grande are magical together, enriching the story & song far beyond the world of Oz. Jon M. Chu is a wizard of filmmaking.

While #WakeUpDeadMan occasionally struggles to take up its cross narratively speaking, Rian Johnson’s exploration of our attachment to faith & the polarization & weaponization of belief is a compelling, thought provoking spiritual journey all on its own. Craig is great but O’Connor steals the show

#Eternitymovie is a film I’d be more than happy to spend all my life with. Anchored by a stellar ensemble cast, boldly questions the complexities & duality within finding happiness while also being a technically brilliant love letter to cinema & those who help us stay true to ourselves along the way

#Zootopia2 is a worthy continuation of the original (albeit somewhat predictable) ft. a fantastic MG score, laugh a minute gags, an incredible cinema reference I loved, but above all else, it’s an emotional timely story of found family & courage to be vulnerable for those you love. Best of the year?

The true regret of #Frankenstein lies within GDT’s mortality, because it’s a damn shame he can’t make movies forever. A visually sumptuous experience, with a fantastic score & performance by Jacob Elordi on the horrific lengths mankind will go to for control when confronted with one’s own humanity.

So happy to see #Prey for the first time on the big screen (double feature screening) because Trachtenberg’s vision was made for theatrical experience. Jarring, intense Predator violence & action with authentic storytelling through Native American culture & a standout performance by Amber Midthunder

#Roofman: riveting deeply relatable true story about the life of Jeffery Manchester at his best & worst qualities as a Robin Hood set on the American dream. Doesn’t break new ground, but between Tatum‘s infectious work & Cianfrance’s no nonsense approach, makes for one of 2025s most underrated films

While heavily inspired by sci-fi classics before it (namely T2), #TronAres is pure blockbuster fun, ft epic exhilarating set-pieces that up the ante, alongside a killer NIN score, while being a grounded look at mortality and the human condition in the world of AI. Will be seeing it again in Dolby 😤
October 10, 2025 at 1:11 AM
Also forgot to include it, but that Daft Punk score is cinematic heaven, immerses you in the grid from moment one and never lets you go, can’t believe we are never going to get more music from these guys now that they’ve broken up 😭

#TronLegacy is an incredible leap forward for the grid, in no small part by director Joseph Kosinski breathing new life into the franchise with edge of your seat action and spectacular world building while also being a heartfelt father son story on the generational systems that shape one’s identity
October 10, 2025 at 12:59 AM
While dated by today’s standards, #Tron (1982) rests solely on its groundbreaking visuals and technical work, setting the standard for CGI for years to come, story wise, it’s a solid action sci-fi adventure on blind faith in humanity & the systems of power we allow to control us as a result

#TheLostBus side steps your typical fire drama for an honest, sincere & powerfully acted portrayal of a community coming together in the midst of an overwhelming tragedy, as Paul Greengrass uses his signature direction for a visually devastating look at humanity at some of its finest & lowest hours.

#GoodBoy: Ben Leonberg’s experimental horror into the way dogs help us grieve and confronting one’s mortality in the face of hopelessness and vulnerability makes for compelling & surprising cinema. Indy is a very good dog through every frame, even if you’re not a dog person, you’re going to love him

#GoodFortune is a funny compelling big screen debut for director Aziz Ansari, on the struggle of being an angel in troubled times, while finding your humanity and hope along the way to inspire meaningful change. Ansari, Rogen & Reeves are a trio made in heaven, the comedy we need most right now 👼🥠

#TheSmashingMachine thoughts// big thanks to #A24 for bringing the real life Mark Kerr, Dawn Staples, and Mark Coleman out for the premiere in Arizona!
September 23, 2025 at 5:27 AM
While #HIMmovie isn’t quite as great as it wants to be, Justin Tipping nevertheless goes out on top, in a sports horror thriller on the obsession and emptiness of fame and the terrifying cost of legacy at the expense of humanity. Also surprisingly funny at times, with an exceptional turn from Wayans

#KPopDemonHunters is an unexpectedly welcome addition to Sony’s post Spiderverse era of animation. Rarely listen to this genre, but found its songs infectious and soul stirring in the best way. Beautifully crafted, with a unique center around generational trauma & healing your inner demons. #Netflix

#CaughtStealing: more crime thriller than action movie as trailers show, nevertheless fun, hilarious & exhilarating, with some shockingly brutal fight sequences, entire cast is excellent but Butler is easily star of the show, could be start of a new franchise for Aronofsky, less you know the better
August 24, 2025 at 4:53 AM
#Nobody2 is a solid enough companion piece to the original, even if it never quite reaches the best of Hutch Mansell. Action is fun and surprisingly brutal at times, will laugh and wince all at once. Odenkirk is easily the star, but will ultimately depend on how much you like the character already.
August 16, 2025 at 5:52 AM
If you’re scared of commitment, #Togethermovie will shock and awe your senses, with some wince inducing, clever moments of body horror & surprising amount of comedy & undeniable chemistry within Franco/Brie’s relationship. Its tone & themes aren’t always perfect, but still enough fun to recommend.
August 2, 2025 at 8:00 AM
#FantasticFour feels rushed at times but still has enough family, fun & heart to go around with an infectious cast (Gardner standout) inspired production/VFX (i.e. First Avenger), menacing villain & a moving story on believing in hope & humanity against all odds. A First Step in the right direction.

#28WeeksLater tries to expand on Boyle’s themes of governmental corruption and choosing love & hope amidst uncertainty but mostly from surface level, resulting in a passable summer blockbuster that’s somewhat unnecessary. Entire cast is game & the action is solid at times but plays like a weaker DLC
July 5, 2025 at 11:50 PM
Went in blind to #28DaysLater expecting standard zombie horror and was surprised by Boyle’s vision: an eerie, suspenseful, bold dissection of the apocalypse & how we shape it through our own fear and desire for survival & control. Cillian Murphy’s debut proves to be just as compelling after 23 years
