density and confusion should sometimes be embraced, I think, rather than the minimalism that continues to flatten out our contemporary visual mind. Regardless, the cybernetic redesign from the 70's still looks better

there is so much in North Woods I love, or at least am fixated on. References to, perhaps, Thomas Cole, to dime novels like Nick Carter's, turn of last century Theosophy--and also just rural NE life, which resonated with me. I focus on that in this piece, the sense of childlike wonder bottled up..
