Lazy on the street and asleep in the bed
It's in the meat section, near side the tills

Asda in Birkenhead had pouches of haggis and veggie haggis out today if you can't find the authentic stuff

373 - Hot Buttered Soul - Isaac Hayes
What a great album name. Really nice music, but then it finishes with a spoken word piece for a good 20 minutes. Please Isaac no

374 - King of the Delta Blues Singers - Robert Johnson
Yep that's blues alright
January 15, 2026 at 11:06 AM
375 - Dookie - Green Day
Not sure if it's because I grew up a little past this album but the word I have for this is 'cute'. Some great songs, and I can't stop thinking if this caused a societal outrage like Bart Simpson did

Yeah definitely the worst part of it. I LOVE YOU JESUS CHRIIIIIIIIST ok Jeff thanks thats enough.

You should give The Monitor - Titus Andronicus a listen though
January 7, 2026 at 4:00 PM
I'll add it to my list! Unless it's on this list of stuff to still listen to, I don't know the future

376 - Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
I remember listening to this way back when due to recommendations from music boards, and I didn't get it. But now, I get it a little bit more, but it feels like a less aggressive Titus Andronicus

377 - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - A Fever To Tell
Another Guitar Hero flashback with Maps which was also best song on this album. I liked it, but this feels like an album which should be heard live to shine

378 - Run DMC - Run DMC
Pretty good overall but their style does repeat, but I guess when it was new this was a brand new style and changed everything

I've tried Three Musketeers and had the exact same reaction - not sure why but I bounced so hard off it

379 - Rush - Moving Pictures
I don't quite get prog rock, maybe you need to sit and focus on it like Venture Bros taught, but yeah, pretty good overall. Weird that Tom Sawyer gets all the attention for this album. Also, Guitar Hero memories from YYZ

380 - Charles Mingus - Mingus Ah Um
Movie New York ass soundtrack. Sleuthin', chasin', brawlin' jazz. I loved it, Jelly Roll was such a nice finisher.

Also big shouts to how Mr Mingus names his albums

381 - Lynrd Skynyrd - Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd
When I got the ability to actually buy music (ESA was such a blessing) this was one of the albums I actually bought, and it holds up - even with the primo Freebird excluded itd be a great album

I put the scooby doo album on, anything you put on is automatically better

382 - Tame Impala - Currents
Previously I've only heard The Less I Know The Better, but this is an album of the same synth and vibes and damn it's good.

383 - Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Really cool ambience music, but the male singer sounds like a moodier Pet Shop Boy. Only problem is it's all so ambient that it's hard for the music to stick in the memory, very much an active listening which doesn't mesh with ambient

Are you going to find and destroy number 1 or just accept the loss
August 28, 2025 at 7:46 AM
384 - The Kinks - The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society
The more I hear their songs, the more I think I hate The Kinks.
August 28, 2025 at 7:31 AM
Oh yeah second hand is good for that, but with something that big it's worth taking your time on, so just browse at leisure. Unless it's an urgent thing in which case BUY
August 11, 2025 at 8:51 PM
It's my first time doing it, and it's just lining paper, but do you know what? You're 100% right and I hate the fact I have at least 3 more rooms to do
August 11, 2025 at 8:44 PM
Literally everywhere sells furniture because everything amazonified themselves, but it's always worth checking a showroom so you can visualise it.

Just avoid the showrooms which are all grey crushed velvet live laugh love framed Peaky Blinders showrooms, unless that's your jam
