What a great album name. Really nice music, but then it finishes with a spoken word piece for a good 20 minutes. Please Isaac no

Not sure if it's because I grew up a little past this album but the word I have for this is 'cute'. Some great songs, and I can't stop thinking if this caused a societal outrage like Bart Simpson did

You should give The Monitor - Titus Andronicus a listen though

I remember listening to this way back when due to recommendations from music boards, and I didn't get it. But now, I get it a little bit more, but it feels like a less aggressive Titus Andronicus

Another Guitar Hero flashback with Maps which was also best song on this album. I liked it, but this feels like an album which should be heard live to shine

Pretty good overall but their style does repeat, but I guess when it was new this was a brand new style and changed everything

I don't quite get prog rock, maybe you need to sit and focus on it like Venture Bros taught, but yeah, pretty good overall. Weird that Tom Sawyer gets all the attention for this album. Also, Guitar Hero memories from YYZ

Movie New York ass soundtrack. Sleuthin', chasin', brawlin' jazz. I loved it, Jelly Roll was such a nice finisher.
Also big shouts to how Mr Mingus names his albums

When I got the ability to actually buy music (ESA was such a blessing) this was one of the albums I actually bought, and it holds up - even with the primo Freebird excluded itd be a great album

Previously I've only heard The Less I Know The Better, but this is an album of the same synth and vibes and damn it's good.

Really cool ambience music, but the male singer sounds like a moodier Pet Shop Boy. Only problem is it's all so ambient that it's hard for the music to stick in the memory, very much an active listening which doesn't mesh with ambient

The more I hear their songs, the more I think I hate The Kinks.
